Portrait Drawing
This course will introduce the student to basic concepts of portrait drawing. Using the block-in approach, the student will learn to construct an accurate linear representation of the live model. Once the linear drawing is complete, the student will move on to massing in tone and eventually rendering form and detail. The student will learn to create a good likeness and the spirit or personality of the sitter.
Portrait drawing, (limited to 8-10 students)
– Fridays: June 5, 12, 19, 26 July 10, 17, 24, 31
