Master Copy Drawing:

In this course the student is introduced to the process of copying drawings after the masters. By copying after the masters, students discern the masters working process. He/she begin by blocking-in the figure then progressing through the porcess of creating and finally finishing the drawing. Other lessons include composition of the work and how the master developed a drawing, direction of light, perspective and the masters approach of applying value creating what is called the effect, a 3 dimensional quality. Students will faithfully copy the work of one or more masters using graphite pencil progressing to carbon pencil.

* Tuition is due on or before the first day of class.

If you plan to make a check payment and mail it in, please contact Cooley Studios ahead of time since the mail can take a few days. Make checks payable to Cooley Studios. Use the “for” line to make sure we know what class or workshop you are paying for, and include the student’s name (if it isn’t on the check already).
Refunds – Refund of tuition is adjusted to the following schedule:
* Cancel after the 1st class meeting: 75%
* Cancel during or after the 2nd class meeting: 0%
